Introduction

            In the previous report, the flaws were identified in the current network of The Patmos Aktis Suites and Spa. The main aim of the hotel is to provide better customer services with the support of strong wireless network. The weak sections of the existing network were outdated system software, weak network coverage, lack of WLC and weak network encryption[1]. This report, aims to provide a better network solution for the hotel, with the support of strong wi-fi coverage and a central system to control every device.

            The flaws of the network were identified properly. In order to simulate the new proposed network, a simulation software, known as Cisco Packet tracer is used. However, simulating the whole network is not possible. Thus, three areas from the entire hotel is selected, which are, the hotel lobby, pool side area and one room. A simulation of the network using these locations are presented in this report. A RADIUS server with users already defined is used, along with a DHCP server to allocate IP addresses to the AP and devices automatically[2]. The WLC (Wireless LAN controller) is used and managed by the Admin of the network. Three users and three devices are used in the simulation, along with 3 AP (Access point).
