Introduction

The problem that I have identified in this term is the educational policy problem. The policy alternatives and the government play an important role in addressing the policies problems. There are several discussions on whether the government should intervene to solve these problems or let the individuals to solve their issues own its own. For example, the government decides to impose a ban on the smoking in the public places and perform various activities that the scientists should do for the country. Sometimes, the government also takes some steps to deal with the obesity problem of its citizens as it will have negative impact on the growth of the country. The policy makers consider several factors in choosing the best policy instrument that can be use to solve any problem or issue including the educational policy issues (Ford, J. Joseph, M & Joseph, B, 2009). They also decide whether the instrument will be effectual in dealing the problem and whether it will have some positive economic effect on the country in long run. The next section shows the detail of the instruments that can be used to deal with the educational policy problems.
