Introduction

Policy is the system of rules and principles that are required to guide the decisions and achieve desirable outcome. It play an important role in the economic development of the country. They also aim of improving the well being of the citizens, providing employment, foster innovation, overcoming challenges faced by different sectors, providing opportunities for the sectors to grow etc (Bulut, 2018). There are various policies areas in which the policies are made to achieve sustained growth. These areas includes agriculture, economic development, energy & environment, health care, education, fiscal affairs, criminal justice etc. There are some policy problems in each of these sectors that hinders the economic growth. one of the major area in which these are issues in the policy is the education sector. The next sections explains the policy problems, especially problems related to educational policies, what are reasons behind it and how these problems evolved overtime. It also explains the what this policy problem affect the economic development of the country and what group of citizens are affected by this policy problem.
